This is a workspace for all parties to work on integrating the Ogg Vorbis format and audio codec with the Helix DNA Client, as well as any other work in the collaboration between the Xiph.org Foundation and the Helix community.

Status (14-Jan-2004): - Ogg Vorbis is fully supported in the Helix Player for Linux. The plugin for Windows should build, but not much testing has gone into that version. The same holds true for Mac support of Vorbis.

There is now preliminary suppor t for Ogg Theora checked in, which is capable of playing Ogg Theora video inside the Helix Player.

Also, the Xiph.org Foundation received funding from the 2003 Helix Community Grant Program. Watch this page for progress and updates from the grant recipients.
