This project is intended to hold various "top level client" (TLC) applications. These TLCs are generally user-run clients that play content and currently include the following players. simpleplayer This is a simple command line player that runs on Windows, Linux and Mac platforms (at least). guiplayer This is a simple GUI player that currently runs on Windows, Linux and Mac platforms (at least). There are two versions for Linux: one done using Motif, and another done using Gtk2. Some ideas for things to do in here include the following. Finish existing guiplayer apps. Netscape/Mozilla plugins. Toolbar dock apps for various desktops (e.g. KDE). Skin-able UIs. This project is part of the larger Helix DNA Client category of projects. |
